Having almost got back to winning ways in our last match, Leeds United were looking to make it two wins in three as we travelled to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday in Saturday’s Yorkshire Derby.
A win would’ve taken either side to the top of the Championship table for a bit, but the weather conditions certainly hampered the game, and in the end, we had to settle for a point in a scoreless draw.
Both sides had small chances to break the deadlock, but the match wasn’t littered with guilt edged opportunities, but we stay in second place for now and we see what the 3pm kick offs do for us.
No doubt a main talking point coming out of the game is that Patrick Bamford has now failed to score in nine matches, so that will only intensify the split in the fanbase when it comes to whether you believe manager Marcelo Bielsa is right to continue to prefer him ahead of Eddie Nketiah for now – or not.
